Jules Grandjon

In 1836 Louis Bernadel took over the violinshop at the Kalverstraat of de Lannoy, after his early death in 1847 Jules Grandjon was one of the French makers that joined the household of Bernadel's widow. When Grandjon returned to France, the Kok brothers took over the workshop.

in 1885 they apparently repaired this violin and signed the back in pencil saying: Gebr. Kok rep. 1885.
